NCBW defines economic empowerment as the ability to self-determine dreams, pursue them, and ultimately realize them by establishing the mechanisms to sustain generational wealth. Throughout the country, chapters’ Economic Empowerment programs address financial literacy and life skills training.
The Economic Empowerment program is based on NCBW's trademark program "Sisters-Nomic$", a philosophical mindset and path to economic independence. Underrepresented women are empowered through education and strategies required to achieve career advancement, entrepreneurship opportunity, and generational wealth.
